李安宅(1900-1985年)，河北省迁安县人。字仁斋,笔名任责。著名社会学、人类学、民族学家。曾任四川省政协委员,中国社会学研究会顾问、中国民族学会顾问、中国民俗学研究会顾问等。1926年燕京大学社会学系毕业,后赴美国深造。1938年赴甘肃拉卜楞寺对藏传佛教进行实地调查,后任教于成都华西大学。1947年到1949年在美英从事研究工作。1950年进藏任教。1963年任教于四川师范学院。1985年逝世。一生专治民族学、宗教学、社会学、藏学的研究,颇有成绩。宗教方面的专著有《藏族宗教史之实地研究》、《拉卜楞――李安宅的调查报告》、《宗教与边疆建设》等。
